The GenEsIs wall

The paintings that grace our hallway are the account of the Genesis story. They were donated by an elderly woman who loves God.

We have power!! We still have a ways to go with flatwork and we are now required to replace the parking lot. We are still in need of $150,000. God has provided so far and we are trusting Him to finish what He has started. To God be the GLORY!

The goodness and kindness of God continues to bless us with contributions from The Grove in Riverside, Clairmont Church of God in San Diego, New Horizon Christian Community Church in Gardenia and the Center of Spiritual Living in Murrieta, The Apostolic Faith Tabernacle in Sylmar,  John & Barbara Cellars, Jim & Karen Northcutt and Linda Lange.    We thank everyone for the prayers and support.  When God's people unite powerful things happen!!
Janet Long from the LDS church is holding a food drive for our pantry.  So they will be arriving on Saturday July 9 at 8:30am to deliver the food and greet and meet people.  In the mean time, Margaret Blain is organizing a clothes bank too.  So if you have any clothes or food you would like to donate to the food bank, the need is always there.
Update on the progress:  We have the approval from the insurance company for demolition of both the parsonage and the sanctuary.  Permits are being applied for now.  We aren't completely sure of the dates, but it has been discussed that it will be soon! :) Ron Cooper has been amazing with his dealing with the details of this restoration.  We have had a security guard on the campus every night which will end on Sunday night and a new surveillance system will be put into place on Monday.
The church has purchased a cathedral tent to arrive in mid July or sooner.  This will be our semi permeate home until the new church facility is ready.  We are dealing with air conditioning issues and keeping it cool for the summer in the mean time, so let's stay flexible while we get all the details ironed out.
Mike and I met with Rabbi Yosef yesterday.  He is a Jesus believing Jew who is the Rabbi over 17 international synagogues.  We were captivated by the information he shared with us and how all these synagogues were praying for Homeland!  After lunch, he invited us over to his home where it was like walking back in time with ornate tapestries on the walls and artifacts everywhere.  He had a 9 foot menorah in his living room and a seat of Moses.  We were in AWH as he discussed his testimony and background as a Rabbi.  He gave us a letter that he sent out to all his Spiritual Sons across the globe asking them to pray for Homeland.  His synagogue gave me a gift of a prayer shawl and he explained what all the strands and knots meant.  It was such an amazing afternoon, we just walked out after 2 1/2 hours and were speechless...all we could say was "WOW!"  We are praying that God will give us favor to develop a relationship with Rabbi Yosef and that Christians and Jews may come together as it was meant to be.  Shalom!
