The GenEsIs wall

The paintings that grace our hallway are the account of the Genesis story. They were donated by an elderly woman who loves God.

We left Baker City, OR this morning and are now in Salem OR.  As we drive along the Columbia River I can't help but to be in AWE of God's amazing creation.  Maybe they could send some of that water to California!  Just saying.

Many thanks to Peggy and Daniel Brown from Calvary Chapel of Romoland.  Peggy has kicked off a campaign called "Prayer Changes Things."  She sent over 100 signs to Oregon with us to give away.  Her mission is to put these signs in every state in the United States.  Oregon was the 14th state to receive these signs.  Harvest Church was so excited to receive these and have posted them all over Baker City.

Man, I'm tired of seeing those prayer changes things signs. They pollute the view. And did you pray for Trump? How did that work out for you? Why don't you pray for people to wear a mask in public so we can all get back to work?

Since you will be spending a substantial amount on the renovations, you’ll need to evaluate the total cost and determine if it will be a worthwhile investment. To help you with the process, we’ve collected some of the best home upgrades that can add value to your home.

Well, factually, prayer changes nothing at all, although you're certainly welcome to think otherwise.

On the other hand, those signs do accomplish something: they annoy people.

Yes, some people like them: those who already believe. If it makes you feel good to preach to the choir while annoying everyone else, then keep doing what you're doing, however I'd remind you to recall the Golden Rule.
